Introducing Power Surge - Surge Audio's flagship series of high power amplifiers. These models were designed from the ground up, to be anything other than average. PS Series amplifiers feature a military-grade PCB with the most copper tracing possible, added standoffs for extreme vibration resistance, and overbuilt transformers to withstand the heaviest of abuse.
Cooling is key. The PS Series heatsink was custom tooled to optimize cooling capacity. We made use of thermal modeling to determine the best possible heat dissipation capacity of our heatsink options. Beyond that, we have spaced the mounting feet 1/4" below the heatsink to allow for additional airflow below the backplate of the amplifier.
All PS Series amplifiers include silver plated Tiffany style RCA inputs, four-stage intelligent protection circuitry, and a remote bass knob with clipping, voltage, and temperature indication.

Excellent quality Amplifier
Been having my 6000.5 for more than a year moving my whole system, including 4 15's on the sub channel and it pushes them so hard, I think I could break them one day. Very clear with no distortion and at full volume it only gets to like 125 degrees on temperature. With good current it easily exceeds power ratings.

This is my first experience with surge, had a few wolfram products, and Colin was awesome help working through issues on those. This amp is stellar, and super underrated in the bass world. Excellent amplifier
Dropped it in my 4runner, and have been nothing but happy with it. Sounds phenomenal compared to the amp I had before, and woke my mids up BIG time. Nearly endless power on the 4ch side for most applications. 10/10 would buy again, and probably will end up with another one!
