Best Warranty in the Business

All new Surge Audio amplifiers are covered under a 1-year limited warranty when purchased from www.SurgeAudio.com or from an authorized retailer. The warranty does not cover improper electrical support, abuse, neglect, accidental damage, or improper impedance levels. Warranties are NOT transferable should you decide to sell your amplifier to a third party.

To initiate a warranty claim, please use the "Contact Us" page. Do not ship any products to us without an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Shipments sent without an RMA will not be accepted, and the address on our website is not a return or repair facility

The Fine Print

By purchasing a Surge Audio product, including but not limited to new, B-stock, refurbished, promotional, and/or final sale amplifier units, you, the purchaser, hereby agree to all terms, conditions, disclaimers, and limitations set forth below in full, and acknowledge that said terms supersede any prior communications, assurances, assumptions, or understandings unless otherwise agreed to in a signed, written statement by an authorized officer of Surge Audio.

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

Surge Audio offers a 1-year limited warranty on new amplifiers purchased exclusively through www.SurgeAudio.com or from one of our designated and approved authorized retail partners. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and only to products used in accordance with Surge Audio’s installation, operating, and maintenance guidelines. Any warranty claim must include proof of purchase indicating the original purchase date and point of sale. This warranty is not transferrable and shall not apply to second-hand owners, regardless of whether the unit appears new or unused.

2. What the Warranty Covers (and What It Doesn’t)

This limited warranty specifically covers defects in materials and/or workmanship that occur under normal, intended, and responsible usage conditions during the covered period. The warranty does not cover, nor shall Surge Audio be held liable for, any amplifier failure or damage resulting from, but not limited to, the following:

  • Improper installation, insufficient power or ground, poor electrical connections, or lack of proper fusing

  • Operation at improper or unstable voltage levels, including under/overvoltage conditions

  • Use of the product outside recommended impedance levels or failure to follow technical specifications

  • Environmental damage, including exposure to excessive heat, moisture, humidity, dust, vibration, UV radiation, or corrosive substances

  • Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, cracked or warped surfaces, or broken mounting tabs

  • Physical abuse, accidental damage, mishandling, drops, or improper shipping/transport

  • Modification, alteration, tampering, or unauthorized repair attempts

  • Installation or removal damage (i.e., stripped terminals, board damage from incorrect torque, etc.)

  • Operation of the product outside of intended design use, including competition-level SPL setups or commercial vehicle usage unless otherwise noted

3. Warranty Claim Procedure

All warranty claims must be initiated via the "Contact Us" form on our website. You must not ship any product to Surge Audio without receiving an official RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Any shipments received without a valid RMA will be refused, returned to sender, or discarded without liability to Surge Audio. Furthermore, the address listed on our website is not a return location and will not accept incoming warranty or repair shipments under any circumstances.

Once an RMA is issued, the customer is responsible for prepaid shipping of the amplifier to the address provided with the RMA instructions. Proper packaging, labeling, and tracking are your responsibility. Surge Audio is not liable for any damage or loss that occurs during customer shipment to the repair facility.

4. Evaluation, Service, and Outcomes

Upon receiving the unit, Surge Audio or our authorized amplifier repair center will evaluate the product. If a manufacturer defect is confirmed, Surge Audio will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or provide an equivalent substitute product, and pay for return shipping of the serviced unit back to the original purchaser.

If the amplifier is found to be damaged due to user error, misuse, electrical fault, physical damage, or any condition not covered under the limited warranty, the customer will be notified and may be offered a paid repair option. In this case, the customer is responsible for all repair costs, parts, labor, diagnostics, and return shipping. Refusal to authorize repair may result in the unit being returned in as-received condition or, if unclaimed for 30 days, disposed of without further notice.

5. Use of Authorized Repair Centers

In certain cases, Surge Audio may forward your unit to an authorized amplifier repair center. By submitting your unit for warranty service, you consent to this process. Once the repair center receives your unit, all repair work, service logistics, and applicable warranties fall under the jurisdiction of that repair center. Surge Audio is not involved in the repair timeline, parts sourcing, or final quality control of repair center activities.

The authorized repair center will return the amplifier to the customer directly. Repairs conducted by our authorized repair center are covered by a 90-day limited repair warranty, applicable only to the specific repairs performed and the components replaced. This does not reinstate or extend your original 1-year manufacturer warranty.

6. Termination of Original Warranty Upon Third-Party Service

By submitting your amplifier for service to an authorized repair center, you acknowledge and agree that your original Surge Audio warranty is terminated upon the amplifier's receipt by the third-party service provider. Any future claims will be governed exclusively by the repair center’s warranty terms, which may vary and are available upon request.

7. Additional Disclaimers

  • All refurbished, B-stock, open-box, scratch-and-dent, or final sale products are sold as-is, with no warranty, no returns, and no guarantees of cosmetic condition or inclusion of accessories/manuals.

  • Photos displayed on Surge Audio product listings may be for representational purposes only and do not necessarily depict the exact item being shipped.

  • Surge Audio is not liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of use, lost profits, or equipment downtime.

  • Installation or deinstallation costs, third-party technician charges, and customer time or inconvenience are not reimbursable under any circumstance.

  • Surge Audio reserves the right to deny any warranty claim that, in our sole discretion, exhibits signs of misuse, tampering, or gross negligence.

8. Policy Updates & Legal Standing

Surge Audio reserves the right to modify, update, amend, or discontinue any portion of this warranty and service policy at any time, without prior notice, for any reason. The version in effect at the time of claim submission shall govern. The validity, interpretation, and enforcement of these terms shall be governed under the laws of the State of Arizona, and any disputes shall be subject to resolution within the appropriate jurisdiction.
